Albedo
(Term of radiometry/photometry)
Generally, albedo is just another term for reflectance.
In the Radiance software, it is used as
the unitless ratio between the scattering coefficient
and the extinction coefficient for a
participating medium. An albedo of 0 means that
the particles do not scatter light. An albedo of 1 means
that the particles do not absorb light.
The Radiance software treats the red, green and blue components
of the albedo seperately.
